Brief
We were asked by the English Table Tennis Association (ETTA) to produce a series of presentation templates for the 65th English Open international tournament that they were hosting. The slides were to be displayed on a large screen in the venue to keep spectators informed of upcoming matches, results, etc... and needed to fit in with the existing tournament branding. The work also required very tight turn around times in order to be produced in time for the start of the tournament.
Approach
We decided that the most visually pleasing route would be develop a series of templates using Keynote (the Apple equivalent to PowerPoint) which could be updated throught the tournament by a member of ETTA. In order to make the images displayed on the screen seamless, 2 computers and an AV mixer were used to output the video.
Different colour schemes were incorporated into the slides in order to differentiate the different types of information and testing was conducted at the venue prior to the tournament in order to ensure that the presentations were visible from all parts of the arena.
Result
ETTA were very pleased with the quality at turn around time of the work that we produced for them.
